Ten plus years in B2B and B2C sales (auto retail, fleet, business development, team management). I went back to school for a BBA in Business Administration & Economics and trained in cybersecurity engineering at SecureSet Academy. The technical foundation gave me what I'd been missing my entire sales career: the ability to ship the tools I wished my employers had bought.
Today I run operations and technology at Pelican Bay Pools, co-build Dealtraq, and ship side projects when something keeps me up at night.
The combination is rare on purpose. Most engineers don't sell. Most salespeople don't ship. I do both, and I prefer building software for the operators most teams overlook: trades businesses, dealers, mid-market SMBs that deserve better tools than what they're stuck with.
